Pierce Pope, 12 years and counting of talent and compassion

Updated: Jun 23, 2020

People of Charlotte, please meet a talented and big-hearted Charlottean, Pierce Pope! Pierce has been acting, modeling, singing, and volunteering for as long as he can remember. While being cast in regional and national commercials for NASCAR, Volkswagen, Power Rangers, Shell, Napa, and more, Pierce has also had roles in film and walked numerous runways. And he is also a full-time kid!

Now, let's get to know his story!

You're one of the lucky ones, following your heart from a young age. Tell us more!

For a very long time, I have been doing what I love, acting. But I also love helping the community through Molly's Kids and Autism Charlotte. I love helping in any way that I can!

How else might the community know you?

Some people know me as a professional kid actor, some people may know me as an influencer (through Rookie USA or as an Autism Charlotte influencer), and some know me as just a good friend—I hope everyone agrees with me.

Where does your motivation to be all you can be come from?

The reason I am an actor and want to be a director is so I can tell powerful stories, but also so I can help change the world to make it a better place.

What have you been up to during quaratine?

I have been raising awareness during COVID by donating to Bags of Hope. The organization donates to kids and families without food in the Lake Norman area. If you have a charity or something cool for me to check out or help with, let me know!

Your Instagram is awesome. Would you like to share your account with the people of Charlotte?

Thank you! If you want to see some cool videos, check out my Insta stories on Tuesdays. Oh, and you can learn more about the work I have done at myimbdpage.

We know you have a big heart, especially for community matters. Is there anything else that you would like to share?

I hope this year will bring better equality despite our challenges and tragedies this year. For as long as I can remember, I have been really trying to bring people together no matter the situation. Hopefully, this year I can learn more and spread ideas on how we can band together instead of pushing each other apart...while handling the actor and kid life in between.

THANKS FOR READING, Charlotte!
